Planning for the future
Following completion of our building and renovation project that extended our four existing cottages, building three new cottages and installation of solar panels to all seven cottages our plans for the Charity's future are as follows:
To repay the mortgage,taken out to help with the funding of the building project as quickly as possible.
To set money aside to ensure we have financial reserves for major renovations in the distant future. It is already clear that gas heating will have to be replaced by the early 2030’s, in all likelihood by clean energy electrical appliances and as time goes on, we need to plan for our cottages becoming out of date once more and needing to be completely renovated.
However we will also continue to maintain the cottages themselves from daily wear and tear through regular maintenance and repair, to ensure high standards are maintained for our residents.
We welcome donations from Charitable Foundations and other sources but cannot rely on these alone to fund our long term plans,so need to build up our reserves ourselves,which we do from investments,as well as donations from the general public.

All new projects need funding.
Whenever we are ready to start on a project and funds are required beyond those we have available, we will ask our benefactors whether they are prepared to help.
Donations for general purposes are always welcome and will contribute to keeping both cottages and gardens maintained to a high standard for the benefits of our residents. Please see below our bank details for your donations.
